I bought this to compare to the same book as summarized by “Smart Summaries”, a competitor with this press (“Readtripeneur”). I have also read the full book.This version is far inferior to the Smart Summaries version and is mediocre at best:
1. The grammer is so bad that I suspect that English is an unfamiliar language.
2. Many words are in bold font, but the words chosen for this are arbitrary; very sloppy.
3. Most important, the intellectual caliber is poor. I would not trust anything this book says or anything by this press.

This was clearly translated with someone with a poor grasp of the English language. You can tell that there were probably some relatively complex thoughts communicated in whatever the original language was, but it comes across like a 6th grader wrote it. The grammar is so poor that it was unbearable to continue past the second chapter. I actually intended to get the book "Sapiens" (didn't realize I had picked up the Summary of the book), but after this I'm not even sure I can stomach it.
I realized after ordering this that it was just a summary. However, besides reading like a Reader's Digest condensed version of the book, it is very poorly written by someone who does not seem to have a good grasp of English language or grammar. Very disappointing.
I heard a lot about how important this book was, so I finally but the bullet. What I ultimately read was an overwrought book report on The works of Jared Diamond. It's an okay summary of a real study of history, but the author makes too many value judgements without fleshing out his points. Still gonna read Homo Deus to see if there's improvement.

I did NOT mean to order the summary It should not be on the market - a total rip-off.
bland. don't waste your time or money.
The author of this summary obviously either did not understand the text or completely misunderstood it. Take for example this ludicrous statement from the book " Today, there are 7 billion Sapiens all around the planet,while animals do not even come close to this number".( 0n page 43). You will be better off if you skip the summary and its numerous inaccurate statements and read the book itself.
beware that this isn't the actual book - although it is priced as such ($9.37). As it turns out, getting a copy of the actual book is currently $1.50 cheaper than the summary. This isn't even as comprehensive as Cliff's Notes would be. It's basically a glorified table of contents. Not sure why this is even a product to accidentally purchase instead of the real thing (as it is the first and fourth result when you search for this title). Maybe print "SUMMARY" in big red letters on the cover of future editions.
